The Garden of Indemnity edition by Nick Rawls Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book was poignant and moving in a way that I haven't experienced in years...I look forward to more from this author in the future!
Character development is what I look for in a good novel. In this book, I can feel what the characters are feeling. Great read!
Wow, but this was painful to read. Not only could you not be certain which character you were often following, but it was pretty obvious that it missed the editing department. I could forgive the missing or wrong words interspersed throughout the story, although "passed" for "past" about made me crazy, it was the meandering that could have been made more concise which made this so painful. And I could happily go the rest of my life without reading "um" "er" or "ugh" in a story again, so overused were these cheap attempts at valid conversation. Frankly, unless you're bored, I'd suggest skipping this freebie.
